Disciple Bible
Study:
Disciple I. Becoming disciples through Bible study is what this program is all about, and it is excellent. The group (usually of 12 people) meets for 34 weeks, 2 hours per session. You will be glad you invested the time. The entire Bible is read and studied.
Disciple II. Designed to continue the learning grounded in Disciple I, this church is offering the Disciple II study beginning the first part of next year.
Emmaus Groups
The Emmaus fellowship groups are designed for individuals who have attended a "Walk to Emmaus" weekend retreat. If you would be interested in attending a Walk to Emmaus retreat, they are held on various weekends throughout the year. "The focus of Emmaus is God as known in Jesus Christ and how that finds expression in the local church. The objective of Emmaus is to inspire, challenge, and equip local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, and places of work. Emmaus lifts up a way for our grace-filled life to be lived and shared with others."
The High School Youth of our church are able to participate
in special monthly activities planned just for and by them.
These activities have included a Haunted House, cookie baking, MICA
food collection. Thoughts of a movie night and attending
Christian music concerts as a group are whirling around. Fund
raising for youth trips also are a part of this. The
activities are organized through the Sunday School class with the
teachers being the adults assisting with this planning.
Contact the Ch.Ed. Coordinator for more information.

3 circles (smaller groups of women) of the church which meet once a month, as well.
Wednesday
Adventures
The beyond-Sunday ministry for children in Kindergarten
through fourth grade occurs the first Wednesday of each month (early
out for schools). Beginning at 12:15 children who need
transportation are picked up at their respective schools by
volunteer drivers and transported to the church where the action
begins. Crafts, songs, stories and a special activity such as
bowling, movies, kite flying, and many others are planned. The
program concludes at 5:00. For sign up and more information on
Wednesday Adventures contact the Ch.Ed. Coordinator.
t.a.g.
Our Wednesday night youth program is Truth and God. It
begins each week with a delicious meal served at 5:30, followed by
activities, and small group time. Dessert is served around
7:15 and the program concludes at 7:30. Youth in grades five through
twelve are encouraged to join in the fun. Schedules for athletic
practices and lessons sometimes prevent youth from attending the
whole evening. That is okay. The evening is broken into pieces
that allows a youth to join in whenever possible. A
youth council meets each week with adult leaders to discuss
programing and plans. The purpose of this program is to
provide an inviting, interesting, fun, and safe place for youth to
develop their identities in a Christian atmosphere. Activities
have included music such as our own youth band and DVD's, service
projects such as fleece blanket making and food collection for MICA
, caroling, game night, movies and discussions, a field trip
to a funeral home, baking cookies... much more will be
happening. Join us! For more information contact
the Ch.Ed. Coordinator.
Sunshine Singers and God's Choir
